Coaches Absence Form

Absence Policy

• ALL absences must be reported

• Missing Practice

  • Max of 2 allowed(paid) practice absences per club season

  • All other absences will be deducted from the coach’s monthly pay

• Missing Tournaments

  • must be reported early to the club director ASAP and will be deducted from monthly pay

  • Assistant coaches CANNOT just cover for a head coach at a tournament unless they have the directors approval

• Consistent absences will be subject to disciplinary actions

Coverage Policy

• Ideally if coaches can work it out amongst themselves in terms of coverage, that would be preferred (ie: Isaac asks Sarah to cover and in return will cover Sarah’s future practice)

• Head Coach absent

  • Preferably to find another head coach to cover (as opposed to an assistant coach)

  • If the assistant coach covers, the assistant coach is entitled to extra pay but it must be reported (deducted from the head coach’s pay)

• Assistant Coach absent

  • Head coach is entitled to extra pay, but it must be reported below (deducted from the assistant’s pay)

• If you need the club to find coverage for your team, we will find coverage but at the rates listed below (to be deducted from coach’s pay)

  • Per Practice : $100

  • Per Tournament Day: $150
